The data we collect
- We check your browser language setting to direct you to either the Dutch or English version of the website. This is then saved in a cookie for 1 year.
- We check to see if you’ve already seen the intro animation and store this until you close your browser. That way you only see it on the first page you visit.
- The data you input in the contact form is not stored, just used to send an e-mail to Els.
- The data you input in the guestbook form is stored, because Els likes to know who you are and where you’re from. You are, of course, free to input anything you like.
- We use Google Analytics to track your usage of the website, however your IP address is anonymous and none of the data collected can be used by third parties or other Google products.
- We use Google Fonts for the fancy fonts you see here and they do log your IP address if this is the first time you’ve seen this font on the web.
- We use Google Recaptcha to prevent spam for the guestbook and contact form, links to their Privacy policy can be found there.
